The Club

Club house from 18th Green
The youngest of what might be called Britain's senior clubs, Royal St. David's was founded in 1894 at the very end of the first great golfing boom, when the sport at last ceased to be an almost exclusively Scottish pastime.
The panoramic view from the lounge offers the 18th Green, 14th Tee and 13th Green. The practice area is to the right of the club house, the 1st tee is to the left and the
bungalow accommodation is to the rear. The
Pro-shop has all the latest golf equipment and a selection of second-hand clubs along with a wide selection of clothing for both men and women, so don't worry if you have forgotten to pack it, JB's shop will have it.
The
club house offer's our guest's a Warm Welcome, "Croeso Cynnes", with attentive staff, 2 bars, lounge and dining area.
Harlech is a fascinating combination of
history, mountain views, bracing see breezes and the home of Royal St. David's Golf Club. Royal St. David's is indeed royal, Edward VII gave the club his patronage and the Duke of Windsor (Edward VIII), while he was Prince of Wales, captained the club in 1934.
