Nationally and internationally renowned, Royal St David's is one of Wales' premier golf courses. It provides a challenging test of golf in a breathtaking setting in the most beautiful and scenic part of the Principality and dominated by the brooding presence of Harlech Castle.
Established in 1894, Royal St David's Golf Club is the home of one of the finest traditional links courses in the world. The undulating fairways and fast true greens are all that would be expected of a championship links course.
In 2009 the Club hosted the S4C Wales Ladies Championship of Europe, won by Karen Stupples of England, and the Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship, won by Azahara Munoz of Spain. In 2010 the Club host the Welsh Open Stroke Play Championship and the Ryder Cup Wales PGA Welsh National.
In 2011 the Club hosts the Boys Home Internationals and in 2013 the prestigious R&A sponsored Jacques Leglise Trophy between GB&I Boys and the Continet of Europe.
The course is rated 73rd in the Golf Digest Best 100 courses outside the USA, 42nd in Golf World’s Top 100 courses in Britain & Ireland and 45th in Golf Monthly’s Top 100 in the UK & Ireland.

Royal St David's Ladies are the new Welsh Champions
The Ladies team of Pam Valentine (Captain), Ann Lewis, Jeanette Williams, Chris Wheatley, Sybra Eardley and Denise Burchell are the new Welsh Ladies' Team Champions. Here pictured with Ladies' President Maggie Hutchinson, they beat Abergele in the Final at Rhuddlan Golf Club having already disposed of Padeswood & Buckley, Bargoed, Clyne and defending Champions Cradoc in the previous rounds.
